Bad credit customers face another hurdle with mortgages

According to a recent report customers in the UK with bad credit are facing yet another problem when it comes to getting a mortgage, as lenders try to protect themselves against increased risks in the current volatile financial market. Customers with bad credit have always struggled when it comes to mortgages and other forms of finance.

Although mortgage products for bad credit customers have been available they have often been far more expensive than standard mortgages, and in the United States that has contributed to the credit crunch that sparked off in the sub-prime sector of the country. Over recent months bad credit customers have suffered another blow, as many wary lenders have withdrawn a large proportion of their bad credit mortgage products from the market altogether.
